NOTD - Mermaid... ish

     Hello, ladies.

     I was telling you here that I treated myself with some early Easter self-gifts, most of them bought from Douglas. While I was looking for some new nail polishes in Douglas, I found a gorgeous one from ArtDeco, that I heard from Ami it was actually a dupe from “Peridot” – Chanel. I fell in love with it in an instant, but when I saw the price – 8 euros for 6 ml – I said “hell no”. You can not imagine my happines when I saw the same exact nail polish at Catrice. And the best part – I paid only 2.50 euros for 10 ml. Oh joy, oh joy :D.

     Va spuneam AICI ca mi-am cumparat singura, in avans, cateva daruri de Paste, majoritatea fiind de la Douglas. Ei bine, in timp ce cautam in magazin niste oje, am descoperit o oja superba la ArtDeco, despre care mi-a spus Ami ca ar fi un dupe dupa “Peridot” – Chanel. M-am indragostit de ea pe loc, insa cand am vazut pretul – 8 euro pentru 6 ml – am zis “Hell, no”. Insa nu puteti sa va imaginati cat de fericit am fost cand am gasit la Catrice o oja identica. Iar partea cea mai buna – am dat 2.50 pentru 10 ml. :D.

     About the nail polish.

     It’s the “840 Genius in the bottle” shade and it’s from their new nail polishes collection. The brush is bigger, wich covers almost my entire nail at once. The nail polish is a peraly gold with blue-green reflextions. It dries very fast, in 15 minutes tops, it’s resistant – I had it on my nails for 5 days – and it doesn’t chip to easy. You need two layers for a full coverage and three in order to have the proper result – one thing I don’t like about it.

     Another thing that I don’t like about it is the intense smell.

     But basically, I love this nail polish and I don’t regret buying it. Almost forgot: I named this post “Mermaid… ish” because this nail polish reminds me of a mermaid’s tail. Don’t you think so too?

     I took the pictures from almost every angle and almost in any light, using flash also, so you could it’s beautiful true shade. I hope you like it.

     Despre oja:

     Este nuanta “840 Genius in the bottle” si face parte din colectia noua. Pensula este mare, astfel ca imi acopera aproape unghia deoadata. Oja este un auriu sidefat cu reflexii verzi-albastrui. Se usuca foarte repede, in maxim 15 minute, este rezistenta – am avut-o pe unghii 5 zile – si nu se “cojeste” usor. Este nevoie de doua straturi pentru a acoperi perfect unghia si de trei pentru a avea rezultatul potrivit – un lucru care nu-mi place.

     Alt lucru care nu-mi place la oja asta este mirosul puternic.

     Dar, in principiu, ador oja si nu regret ca am cumparat-o. Era sa uit: am numit aceasta postare “Mermaid… ish” pentru ca aceasta oja imi aminteste de coada unei sirene. Voua nu vi se pare la fel?

     Am facut poze din aproape toate unghiurile si in aproape toate luminile posibile, folosind si blit, pentru ca am vrut sa-i vedeti adevarata nuanta, una superba. Sper sa va placa.
