LOTD - Soft smokey eyes (my almost everyday look)

     Hello, ladies.

     You have rarely seen me wearing a nude makeup, not only because I don’t like them, but because nude looks don’t suit me. Spare time has not been a luxury I have had lately, so I have to wear minimal makeup. I was telling you here that I’m using only “the basic stuff”: foundation, powder, bronzer, blush, highlighter, mascara, contoured eyebrows and lipstick. But once in a while, I miss using eyeshadows and that is the moment when I reach for my NYX Caviar and Bubbles palette.

     Rareori m-ati vazut cu un machiaj nude, iar asta nu doar pentru ca nu-mi plac, ci si pentru ca nu-mi sta bine machiata astfel. In ultima vreme timpul liber a devenit un lux pentru mine, asa ca sunt nevoita sa port un machiaj minimalist. Va spuneam aici ca folosesc “the basics”: fond de ten, pudra, bronzer, blush, iluminator, rimel, sprancene “facute” si ruj. Insa din cand in cand, mi se face dor sa folosesc farduri, iar atunci intind mana dupa paleta NYX Caviar and Bubbles. 

LOTD - Purple Breath (Valentine's Day makeup - 2)

     Hello, ladies.

     I promised you in yesterday’s post that I’ll show a look did using one of the KIKO palettes, 02 Posh Burgundy to be exactly. I used the quad to do a Valnetine’s Day makeup and, although I like the look, this isn’t what I had in mine and the eyeshadows are to blame for that. They weren’t so pigmented as they seemed in swatches, therefore the result is a soft makeup, with dark-ish lips.

     V-am promis in postarea de ieri ca va voi arata un machiaj realizat cu una dintre palete KIKO, mai exact 02 Posh Burgundy. Am folosit quad-ul pentru a realiza un machiaj de Valentine’s Day si, desi imi place look-ul, nu este ceea ce am avut in minte, iar de vina pentru asta sunt fardurile. Nu au fost atat de pigmentate pe cat pareau in swatch, iar rezultatul este un machiaj mai soft, cu accent pe buze.

LOTD - Sweet kiss (Valentine's Day makeup - 1)

     Hello, ladies.

     Although I don’t agree with this whole Valentine’s Day thing (one doesn’t need a certain day to declare and celebrate its love), I’m sure that many of you will spend this day with the one you love, most certainly on a romantic dinner. Therefore, I have a few looks for you, very easy to do and which I hope you’ll like.

     Today I’ll show you the first one.

     Desi nu sunt de acord cu toata chestia asta cu Valentine’s Day (nu trebuie sa ai o zi anume pentru a-ti declara si sarbatori dragostea), sunt convinsa ca multe dintre voi veti sarbatori aceasta zi si o veti petrece cu persoana iubita, la o cina romantica cel mai probabil. Drept urmare, am facut cateva machiaje pentru voi, usor de realizat si care sper sa va placa.
      Astazi o sa vi-l prezint pe primul dintre ele. 

LOTN - From dusk... teal dawn

     Hello, ladies.

     It’s been almost three weeks since I’ve been trying to post this look and I’ve finally made it. Today I’ll show you the look I wanted to wear on New Year’s Eve, but i have given up on it out of laziness. I spent the New Year’s Eve at home, in my pj’s, so I found it useless to put on makeup only for 2-3 hours. Anyway, this was supposed to be my New Year’s Eve look.

     Ma chinui de aproape trei saptamani sa postez acest look si iata ca in sfarsit am reusit. Este vorba despre machiajul pe care am vrut sa-l port de Revelion, dar la care am renuntat din comoditate. Am petrecut noaptea dintre ani acasa, in pijamale, asa ca mi s-a parut inutil sa ma machiez pentru doua sau trei ore. In sfarsit, acesta ar fi trebuit sa fie look-ul meu de Revelion.

     I think my new motto should be “Shopping is my passion”, because I can't let a month pass by without buying something. The shopping not only relaxes me, but I really need some of the stuff or I just can't help buying them.

     Anyway, this is what I got this month.

     Stiti ca era o emisiune la TV care se numea “Shoppingul, pasiunea mea”? Cred ca asta va fi deviza mea de-acum incolo, pentru ca nu trece luna fara sa cumpar ceva. Pe langa faptul ca shoppingul ma relaxeaza, de unele chestii chiar am nevoie sau poate ca pur simplu nu pot sa le rezist.
      Oricum, acestea sunt cumparaturile din luna ianuarie. 

EOTN - Fireworks

     Hello, ladies.

     Christmas has past – too fast is you ask me – and New Year’s Eve is right around the corner. Which means that we have to find another outfit, a manicure, a special makeup, but this time it has to be glamorous, sparkly.

     Therefore, today I have for you a dramatic and sparkly makeup, perfect for the New Year’s Eve party.

     Craciunul a trecut – cam prea repede, dupa parerea mea – iar Revelionul se apropie cu pasi repezi. Ceea ce inseamna ca trebuie iar sa alegem o tinuta, o manichiura, un machiaj special, insa de data aceasta trebuie sa fie mai stralucitor, mai glamour, mai… “sclipicios”.
      Drept urmare, astazi v-am pregatit un machiaj dramatic si sclipicios, perfect pentru noaptea dintre ani.

LOTN: Delicious wine (X-Mas series)

     Hello, ladies.

     Only one week ‘till Christmas and I haven’t showed you half of my X-Mas looks. Not to mention the manicures, I have lots of models for you and there’s so little time. My plan was to show a matching manicure for eahc of my looks, but I really don’t have the time. Therefore, Laura and I came out with a “plan”, more precisely a collaboration which I hope you’ll like.

     What’s this about: for evey makeup I do, Laura will show you on her blog a matching manicure. And the good news is that we’re continue this project after the winter holidays are over.   

     Mai este o saptamana pana la Craciun, iar eu nu v-am aratat nici macar jumatate din look-urile potrivite pentru aceasta ocazie. Ca sa nu mai spun de manichiuri, am atatea modele in minte si nu stiu cand voi apuca sa vi le prezint. Mi-as fi dorit sa va arat o manichiura potrivita pentru fiecare machiaj de Craciun pe care-l fac, insa efectiv nu am destul timp la dispozitie. Drept urmare, impreuna cu Laura am pus la cale un proiect frumos, care sper sa fie si pe placul vostru.
     Despre ce este vorba: pentru fiecare machiaj pe care-l fac Laura va va arata manichiura potrivita. Iar vestea cea mai buna este ca nu vom face asta doar pentru Craciun si Revelion, si vom continua colaborarea si dupa sarbatori.
