NOTD - Azul

     Hello, ladies.

     I’m starting the week with a new manicure, a combo between a nail polish and a glittery top coat this time, both from Essence and both from a limited edition collection. This is the first time when I’m using them in this combination and I kinda like the result. It’s a nude manicure which stands out thanks to the small glitter and the big blue flakes.

     I hope you’ll like it too.

     Incepem saptamana cu o noua manichiura, de data aceasta o combinatie intre o oja si un top coat cu glitter, ambele de la Essence si ambele dintr-o editie limitata. E prima oara cand le port in combinatia aceasta si-mi place rezultatul. Este o manichiura nude, care iese din anonimat multumita sclipiciului mic si a “fulgilor” mari albastri.

     Sper sa va placa si voua.

     A few words about the Essence nail polish. It’s called “04 Rosewood Hood” and it’s part of the Wild Craft collection, which was available last autumn. It’s got the colour of the butter and it has a really small sparkle, almost invisible. It has a creamy, glossy finish.

     Now what I don’t like about this nail polish: it doesn’t last long on the nails, it chips after 3, max 4 days. Also, the nail polish gives a poor paintjob: it’s streaky, it creates air bubbles, two coats aren’t enough for a full coverage, but a third one makes it look like you’ve applied a tone of nail polish on your nails.

     All in one I’m pretty disspointed with this nail polish, but I’ll still use it because I like it’s colour. 

     On top of it I used "03 Prince Charming" from the Essence Snow Queen Collection. 

     Cateva cuvinte despre oja de la Essence. Se numeste “04 Rosewood Hood” si face parte din colectia Wild Craft, aparuta candva toamna trecuta. Are culoarea untului si contine un sclipici extrem de fin, aproape invizibil. Finish-ul sau este unul cremos, glossy.

     Acum ce nu-mi place la aceasta oja: rezistenta este scazuta, caci incepe sa se cojeasca dupa 3, maxim 4 zile. De asemenea, se aplica foarte prost: lasa dare, face bule de aer, doua straturi nu sunt suficiente pentru o acoperire optima, in schimb la al treilea arata ca si cum ai fi pus o tona de oja pe unghii.

     Per total sunt cam dezamagita de oja, insa o voi folosi in continuare pentru ca-mi place culoarea. 

     Deasupra acestei oje am folosit "03 Prince Charming" din colectia Snow Queen de la Essence.
