Review 3D Shimmer Powder & Fair Pink Blusher

     A few days ago I told you about the Ansley New York BB Cream (click HERE for the review), and today I’m gonna talk to you about another product from the same company. Actually, it’a 2 in 1 product, since it has a face powder and a blush / highlight in the same packaging.

     The products is 3D Shimmer Powder & Fair Pink Blusher.

     Zilele trecute v-am vorbit despre BB Cream-ul de la Ansley New York (click AICI pentru review), iar astazi o sa va prezint un alt produs al aceleiasi firme. De fapt, este un produs de tip 2 in 1, caci avem o pudra de fata si un blush / iluminator in acelasi ambalaj.

     Their opinion / Ce spun ei:

     “Ansley New York 3D Shimmer Powder & Fairy Pink Blusher contains 29g of product with powder: 20g and blusher: 9g. It comes in a convenient packaging with the detachable blusher on top and a massive amount of milky powder at the bottom. The packaging also contains a brush and a sponge.

     The Fairy Pink Blusher can be applied to emphasize the cheekbones and to provide a more youthful appearance. It is composed of raspberry rose, platinum pink and rosy white pentagonal bricks. Its sheen is rather cold and thus suitable for pale skin tones. It is not too pigmented and therefore can be used for both natural and accentuated looks.

     The 3D Shimmer Loose Powder is a translucent, neutral ivory beige powder. It contains micro shimmer pearl which will enhance one's 3D face line and natural glow. It is finely milled and able to provide enough coverage to conceal blemishes and big pores.

     My opinion / Ce spun eu:

     The first thing I liked about this product was it’s packaging: I got four of my “must-have” products – powder, powder puff, blush / highlight and a small brush. The blush’s packaging is detachable and it has a quite large mirror. 

     Primul lucru care mi-a placut a fost ambalajul: gasesc in acelasi “loc” patru dintre produsele esentiale pentru mine, adica pudra, aplicator pentru pudra, blush / iluminator si o pensula mica. Recipientul in care se afla blush-ul este detasabil si este dotat cu o oglinda destul de maricica.

     The powder / Pudra:

     The powder is loose, is translucide and pearly, but contains super fine shimmery particles. Once applied on your skin it has a subtle pearly shimmer, that ilumminates your face. It can be applied with it’s powder puff or with a powder brush, it dosen’t clog your pores and it doesn’t look cakey.

     What I don’t like about it is that it makes your skin shine after only 4-5 hours, especially in the T-zone. But if you apply a mattifying powder after the foundation and before this one, the problem is solved. Also, it doesn’t cover the blemishes on the skin.

     Pudra este sub forma de pulbere, este translucida si perlata, insa particulele de sclipici sunt extrem de fine. Odata aplicata pe ten are un finish perlat, foarte discret, facand pielea mai luminoasa. Poate fi aplicata atat cu buretelul din dotare, cat si cu pensula, nu incarca tenul si nici nu ii ofera un aspect fainos.

     Ce nu-mi place la ea este ca dupa nici 4-5 ore tenul incepe sa luceasca, in special in zona T. Pentru a evita acest lucru, eu folosesc o pudra matifianta peste fondul de ten, dupa care aplic un strat subtire de pudra Ansley, pentru un plus de luminozitate. De asemenea, nici nu acopera petele de pe ten.

     I like the powder puff because it’s soft and fuzzy. Also, It’s easy to wash.

     Buretelul din dotare imi place. Este moale, pufos si flexibil si se spala usor.

     The blush:

     I use it as a highlighter because it’s to light for me to use it as a blush. It’s soft at touch and it isn’t dusty. It has a rose-silver pearly finish, it’s subtle and you don’t have to use a lot of product to highlight your cheekbones. 
     I've used this highlight for THIS look and THIS look.

     Eu il folosesc de fapt pe post de iluminator, pentru ca este prea deschis pentru mine ca sa-l utilizez ca blush. Este catifelat la atingere si nu este prafos. Are un finish perlat, roz-argintiu, este discret si nu trebuie sa folositi o cantitate prea mare de produs pentru a ilumina pometii.

     The brush has the right size to apply the product as a blush or as a highlight. It’s soft, the bristles don’t fall off and it’s easy to wash.

     Pensula are marimea potrivita pentru a aplica produsul atat ca blush, cat si ca iluminator. Este moale, nu-i cad peri la spalare si se curata usor. 

     Overall, I like this product:

-         it has not only a powder and a blush, but it has as a “bonus” a pretty good powder puff and brush;

-         the powder illuminates the skin, but it has a minus point because the skin becomes oily after a few hours. But, as I said before, if this powder it’s applied on a mttifying one, there should be no problem;

-         the blush can be easily used as a highlighter;

-         it has a large mirror, so you can put it in your bag;

-         large amount of product: powder – 20 g, blush – 9 g.

     Per total, imi place acest produs:

-         pentru ca nu are doar pudra si blush, ci vine insotit de doua aplicatoare chiar bune d.p.d.v. calitativ;

-         pudra ofera luminozitate pielii, dar primeste o bila neagra de la mine pentru ca nu are rezistenta. Dar, cum spuneam si mai sus, daca este aplicata peste o pudra matifianta nu mai exista nicio problema;

-         blush-ul poate fi folosit cu usurinta pe post de iluminator;

-         are o oglinda mare, deci puteti purta capacul in geanta;

-         cantitatea maricica de produs: pudra 20 g, iar blush-ul 9 g.
