NOTD - Vision of love (Valentine's Day nails - 2)

     Hello, ladies.

     I hope I haven’t bored you with so many Valentine’s Day related posts, because I have for you two more manicures. I wanted to do another makeup, a soft smokey using NYX Caviar & Bubbles, but I don’t have enough time do it so I’ll take a rain check.

     Back to today’s manicure: although it’s still winter, I’m already dreaming about spring and the beautiful lilac flowers. Actually, they weremy source of inspiration. In case you didn’t know, purple lilacs symbolize the first emotions of love.

     V-ati saturat de atatea postari legate de Valentine’s Day? Sper ca nu, pentru ca mai am sa va arat doua manichiuri. As fi vrut sa fac inca un machiaj, un smokey mai soft cu paleta NYX Caviar & Bubbles, insa n-am destul timp la dispozitie pentru a-l face, asa ca o sa vi-l arat alta data.  

     Revenind la manichiura de astazi: desi este inca iarna, eu ma gandesc deja la primavara si la frumosii liliaci infloriti. De altfel, ei au fost sursa mea de inspiratie. In caz ca nu stiati, liliacul mov simbolizeaza primele emotii ale dragostei.

     For this manicure I used the sponge. I applied two coats of KIKO 331 Violet and let it dry. On the tip of my nails I applied a generous amount of Catrice 470 Snow Motion!. Before it dried up, I put on a piece of plastic two drops of each nail polish, dabbed the sponge in them and I gently tapped the nail polishes on each nail to get that beautiful ombre effect. At the end, I applied the glittery top coat Essence 03 Crazy in love, from the Hugs & Kisses collection and sealed everything with a regular top coat.

     

     Pentru aceasta manichiura am folosit tehnica buretelului. Am folosit oja KIKO 331 Violet in doua straturi si am lasat-o sa se usuce. Apoi am aplicat la varfuri o cantitate generoasa din oja Catrice 470 Snow Motion!. Inainte ca aceasta sa se usuce, am pus pe o bucata de plastic cate un strop din fiecare oja, am imbibat buretelul si apoi am tapotat pe fiecare unghie in parte, pentru a obtine efectul frumos de degrade. La final, am adaugat top coat-ul cu sclipici de la Essence 03 Crazy in love din colectia Hugs & Kisses si am finalizat cu un top coat normal.
