Hello, ladies.
This article was planned to be posted sometime around noon (yesterday), but I had some urgent matters and in the afternoon, when I finally had some free time, the sky became cloudy and I tried for a few hours to take some ok-ish pictures.
So, because I’m late as hell with this post, I’ll just cut to the chase: today I wanna talk to you about my first pair of circle contact lenses – “Barbie Eye Super Nudy Blue”.
Planuisem ca articolul acesta sa apara pe la pranz (ieri), insa am avut niste treburi urgente de rezolvat, iar dupa-amiaza, cand am avut timp liber, soarele s-a ascuns in nori si m-am chinuit cateva ore bune sa fac niste poze mai de doamne-ajuta.
Pentru ca am intarziat mult cu postarea, o sa trec direct la subiect: astazi vreau sa va prezint prima mea pereche de lentile de contact circle - “Barbie Eye Super Nudy Blue”.
A few months ago I bought for myself a pair of normal contact lenses, so I had the opportunity to compare the circles ones with my old ones.
In the package I received from Special Lens I had two vials, each containing a contact lens, a really cute lens case and instructions for the lenses.
I have to say the circle contact lenses are a little bit different. Because they’re so big (14.5mm diameter), on my first attempt it was quite difficult to put them on. I actually had to try 7 ot 8 times until I succeeded.
As it happens with any contact lenses, the first time I wore them my eyes were a little teary and I had a slightly stinging sensation, but after 10-15 minutes my eyes got used to them and everything was ok.
Acum cateva luni mi-am cumparat o pereche de lentile de contact normale, asa ca am avut ocazia de a le compara pe cele circle cu cele vechi.
In pachetul primit de la Special Lens am avut doua fiole, fiecare continand cate o lentila, un suport foarte dragut si instructiuni pentru lentile.
Trebuie sa spun ca lentilele circle sunt destul de diferite. Pentru ca sunt atat de mari (14.5mm diametru), mi-a fost destul de greu sa le pun din prima incercare. De fapt, a trebuit sa incerc de 7 sau 8 ori pana am reusit sa le fixez.
Asa cum se intampla la orice pereche de lentile, prima data cand le-am purtat mi-au lacrimat ochii si am avut o usoara senzatie de usturime, insa dupa ce ochii s-au obisnuit cu ele, totul a fost ok.
A little dissapointment was their colour: on the website they seem to be a bright blue, but in reality they are a little darker. In the sunlight they look blue, but in normal / dim light they are a very dark blue and you have to look really close to see their real colour.
They are confy and soft, because they have 48% water content, but after a 4-5 hours of wearing them I had dry eyes and had to take them off. Therefore, I won’t be wearing them daily and no longer than 5, max 6 hours.
I think they’re more suitable for special occasions, when you want to be admired, to change your look in order to impress someone or when you simply want to look sexier.
The good thing is that you can order them from Special Lens with prescription, if needed.
O mica dezamagire a fost culoarea lor: pe site par a fi un albastru aprins, insa in realitate sunt ceva mai inchise. In lumina soarelui sunt albastre, insa in lumina normala / slaba sunt albastru foarte inchis si trebuie sa le privesti de foarte aproape pentru a l vedea culoarea adevarata.
Sunt confortabile si moi, pentru ca au un continut de apa de 48%, insa dupa 4-5 ore de purtat imi simteam ochii uscati si a trebuit sa le scot. Ca atare, nu le voi purta zilnic si niciodata mai mult de 5, maxim 6 ore.
Cred ca sunt mai potrivite pentru ocazii speciale, cand vrei sa impresionezi pe cineva sau pur si simplu cand vrei sa arati mai sexy.
Partea buna este ca puteti sa le comandati si cu dioptrii, daca aveti nevoie.
And yes, they do make your eyes look bigger, as you can see in the picture below.
Si da, iti fac ochii sa para mai mari, asa cum vedeti in poza de mai jos.
