NOTD - Steel My Heart

     Hello, ladies.

     Lately I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather and I’ve been a little MIA on FB and blog, but I promise I’ll start posting more often. I haven’t done any looks either and not because I don’t have any ideas, but because I wasn’t in the mood to use any eyeshadows and brushes.  

     Instead I did a few manicures and review-s which I’m gonna post these days.

     Today I’ll show you a gorgeous Catrice nail polish which surprised me in a very pleasant way.

     In ultimele zile n-am fost chiar in apele mele si am cam lipsit de pe blog si FB, insa planuiesc sa-mi iau revansa. Nici machiaje n-am mai facut, nu pentru ca n-as fi avut idei, ci pentru ca nu m-am simtit in stare sa pun mana pe farduri si pensule.

     In schimb am facut cateva manichiuri si review-uri pe care o sa vi le prezint zilele acestea.

     Astazi am sa va arat o oja superba de la Catrice care m-a suprins mai mult decat placut. 

     When I want to buy a nail polish, I usually look only to the colour and if I like it I buy it without reading the description on the label. I did the same when I bought Catrice “Steel My Heart”. I thought it was a regular sparkling nail polish and glossy finish, so imagine my surprise when I saw that it turned semimatte when it started drying. Only then I thought about reading the label and saw that they did say it has a semimatte gorgeous finish.

     The colour is a kinda misleading: in the bottle looks to be brown, but in reality it’s a dark grey with silver and green fine sparkle. It has a wide brush which covers almost the entire nail with one stroke. The nail polish is pretty thin and you need to apply three layers for a full coverage. It dries fast and it lasts about 6 days on the nails.

     Atunci cand cumpar o oja, ma uit strict la culoare si daca imi place, o cumpar fara a mai citi si descrierea de pe sticluta. La fel am facut si cand am luat Catrice “Steel My Heart”. Am crezut ca este o oja normala cu sclipici fin si finish glossy, asa ca inchipuiti-va ce surpriza am avut cand am vazut ca, pe masura ce se usuca pe unghii, oja a devenit semi-mata. Atunci mi-a trecut prin cap sa ma uit pe sticluta si sa aflu ca, intr-adevar, are un superb finish semi-mat.

     Culoarea e cam inselatoare: in sticla pare maro, insa pe in realitate este gri inchis, cu sclipici fin verde si gri, care e cam greu de surprins de aparatul foto. Pensula este lata, acoperind dintr-o miscare aproape intreaga unghie. Oja este destul de subtire, fiind nevoie de trei straturi pentru o acoperire completa. Se usuca foarte repede si rezista pe unghii circa 6 zile.
