Swatch & Review - Sleek Sunset

     Hello, ladies.

     The other day I was rearranging my eyeshadows, palettes + monos, to see which I wanna use this autumn / winter, which should be given away and so on. During this “process” I realized that I have 11 Sleek palettes. I can remember how happy I was when I received my first Sleek, Acid that is, and I feel the same joy everytime I buy a new Sleek.  What can I say “once you go Sleek you can never go back”, this palettes can be addictive :)).

     Anyway, I realized that I haven’t show you some of my Sleek palettes and that I had to do something ‘bout that. As you voted on Facebook, today I’m gonna talk to you about Sunset.

     Zilele trecute faceam “inventarul” fardurilor, palete + mono-uri, sa vad pe care sa le folosesc in anotimpul rece, care ar trebui date s.a.m.d. In timpul acestui “proces” am realizat ca am nu mai putin de 11 palete Sleek. Parca tin minte si acum cat de fericita eram cand am intrat in posesia primei Sleek, anume Acid, si va spun sincer ca aceeasi bucurie o am si acum de fiecare data cand imi cumpar una noua. Ce pot sa spun “once you go Sleek you can never go back”, paletele astea creeaza o dependenta :)).
      Anyway, aranjandu-mi paletele Sleek am constat ca unele dintre ele inca n-au fost prezentate pe blog si am decis ca e cazul sa iau masuri. Am supus la vot pe Facebook si ati decis ca prima oara sa va arat Sunset.

      I can honestly say that I love Sunset, I used it a lot this autumn since the eyeshadows have the colors of fall. We have orange, gold, red and copper – just like the leaves, brown like the earth, a champagne shade, a black eyeshadow and a pure blue one – just like a clear sky.

     Cu mana pe inima va spun ca iubesc Sunset, am folosit-o destul de mult toamna aceasta pentru ca fardurile mi se par mai mult decat reprezentative pentru acest anotimp. Avem nuante de portocaliu, auriu, aramiu si rosu – precum frunzele toamnei, maronul pamantul, un fard in culoarea sampaniei, unul negru si un fard albastru pur, ca un cer senin.

 

     The eyeshadows are extremly creamy, they’re soft, they’re easy to blend and last for hours without creasing – at least 10 hours. They’re slightly dusty and, as you’ll see in the pictures, extremly pigmented. Actually, Sunset is one of the palettes with the most pigmented eyeshadows from my entire collection.

     Dar sa trecem la detalii mai importante. Fardurile sunt extrem de cremoase, sunt moi si catifelate la atingere, se blenduiesc din doua miscari si rezista ore bune pe pleoapa – cel putin 10. Sunt foarte putin prafoase si, dupa cum veti vedea si in poze, extraordinar de pigmentate. De altfel, din toata colectia mea, Sunset este una dintre paletele cu cele mai pigmentate farduri. Aveti nevoie doar de o cantitate foarte mica de fard atunci cand va machiati, ceea ce inseamna ca se si consuma greu.  

     Most of the eyeshadows have a metallic or pearly finish, the only matte eyeshadow being the black one. The eyeshadows can be used even as an eyeliner. I’m saying that because, since recently, I’ve become obsessed with colored eyeliners and I’ve been looking for a while for some orange, gold and red eyeliners, which aren’t glittery or to expensive. So when I received the palette I knew I’ll use it to line my eyes too. Actually, I did use some of the eyeshadows as eyeliners, but when that happened I didn’t had the time to take some pictures. But I promise I’ll recreate those looks :).

     Majoritatea fardurilor au finish metalic sau satinat, singurul mat fiind negrul. Fardurile pot fi folosite ca atare sau, daca doriti, le puteti folosi pe post de eyeliner. Spun asta pentru ca, mai nou, am facut o pasiune pentru eyelinerele colorate si am cautat indelung tusuri de ochi portocaliu, rosu sau auriu, care sa nu fie glitter si sa aiba un pret decent. Cand am primit paleta mi-am dat seama din prima ca va avea dubla intrebuintare. De altfel, am si folosit cateva farduri pe post de eyeliner dar, din pacate, nu am avut timp sa fac poze. Dar promit ca voi recrea machiajele ca sa vedeti despre ce vorbesc. 

      I don’t know what else could I say about Sunset, I think the pictures speak for themeselves. I think it’s a must-have palette, the colors are gorgeous and suitbale for every eye color. Actually, I wish I could use this palette on someone with blue eyes :D.

     I hope you’ll like the palette too and, that being said, enjoy the pictures. By the way, all the swatches are made on bare skin, without any kind of eyeshadow base.

     Nici nu stiu ce-as mai putea spune despre Sunset, eu cred ca pozele vorbesc de la sine. Mi se pare o paleta must-have, culorile sunt superbe si se potrivesc oricarei nuante de ochi. Sincer, mi-as dori sa folosesc aceasta paleta pe cineva cu ochi albastri :D.

      Sper sa va placa si voua paleta si, acestea fiind zise, va las cu swatch-urile. Apropo, sunt facute direct pe piele, fara niciun fel de baza.  

     Daca va place paleta si doriti sa o cumparati, o gasiti pe Makeup Shop la 45.99 lei.
