Swatch & Review - GOSH BB Cream

     Hello, ladies.

     I was telling you recently on FB that I received a few goodies from GOSH, which I’ve been testing since I got them. Well, it’s time to share my opinion with you.

     The first on the list is the BB Cream. I find it useless to tell you what a BB Cream is, since the beauty market is full of these kind of products and I’m sure you all know it’s “history”. That being said, let’s start the review.

     Va spuneam recent pe FB ca am primit cateva bunatati de la GOSH, pe care le-am tot testat in ultimele saptamani. Ei bine, a venit timpul sa va vorbesc despre ele.

     Primul pe lista este BB Cream-ul. Nu cred ca are sens sa va spun ce este un BB Cream, piata este deja suprasaturata de astfel de produse si sunt sigura ca toate stiti ii stiti “istoria”. Drept urmare, voi trece direct la prezentarea produsului de la GOSH. 

     Their opinion / Ce spun ei: 

“Foundation, Primer and moisturizer in one with a natural coverage that adapts to the skin tone.

Formulated with mineral pigments and Phytosan. Phytosan helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Perfume free.

-         Foundation – Light coverage with a colour adapting effect.

-         Primer.

-         Moisturizer.

-         Increases skin smoothness and firmness.

-         Reduces appearance of the fine lines and wrinkles.

-         Comes in 5 shades.

-         SPF 15. “

     The shades:

-         01 Sand, 02 Beige, 03 Warm Beige, 04 Chestnut, 05 Espresso

     My opinion / Ce spun eu:

     The packaging / Ambalajul:

-         the BB Cream is packed in a small and sleek tube, which makes the dosage for the product a lot easier / BB Cream-ul vine ambalat intr-un tub micut si subtire, datorita caruia dozarea se face extrem de usor;

-         on the front you have general informations such as the brand / name of the product, usage mode, quantity and SPF / Pe fata sunt trecute informatii generale despre produs, precum numele, modul de folosire, cantitatea si SPF-ul;

-         on the back you have the shade (mine is 02 Beige) and the ingredients / Pe verso sunt notate nuanta (al meu este 02 Beige) si ingredientele. 

     The product / Produsul:

-         although I wasn’t asked what shade I want, the people from GOSH were really inspired when they sent me 02 Beige; in the pictures it may seem a little to dark for me, but you’ll see that it actually adapts very well to my skin tone / desi nu am fost intrebata ce nuanta prefer sa primesc, cei de la GOSH m-au nimerit la fix cu 02 Beige; in poze pare putin inchisa pentru tenul, insa veti vedea ca, de fapt, culoarea se adapteaza perfect;

-         it has a creamy, quite thick consistency, a little bit liquid and, when you apply it it may seem a little wet / consistenta este cremoasa, destul de groasa si, la contactul cu pielea, se simte putin umed;

-         it has a light to medium coverage, depending on how much product you wanna use / acoperirea este mica spre medie, in functie de cat produs folositi;

-         the product is very buildable, you can comfortably add another layer if the coverage isn't enough for you without being afraid that you’ll have a cakey look / produsul mi se pare destul de “buildable” (nu gasesc acum sinonimul in romana), puteti adauga linistite mai multe straturi daca intr-o zi simtiti nevoia de o acoperire mai mare, fara sa va fie teama ca tenul vostru va parea prea incarcat;

-         it’s waterproof, a big plus for me / este waterproof, un mare plus pentru mine;

-         I apply the BB Cream using a stippling brush and I think this is the best way for me to get the highest coverage; if I use my fingers or the beauty blender the product won’t cover the imperfections that well / eu intind BB Cream-ul folosind o pensula de stippling si mi se pare ca asa are si cea mai buna acoperire; daca folosesc degetele sau beauty blender-ul, produsul nu mai mascheaza atat de bine imperfectiunile;

-         It hydrates my skin really, really well, a huge plus since I have a very dry skin / imi hidrateaza extrem de bine pielea, in conditiile in care eu am tenul foarte uscat;

-         The BB Cream has smal shimmery particles, which make the skin shine, even after you apply a mattifying powder / BB Cream-ul contine particule stralucitoare foarte mici, care confera stralucire tenului; efectul “shiny” se pastreaza chiar si dupa ce aplicati o pudra matifianta;

-         The product needs small retouches after 8-9 hours, especially in the T zone, if you have mixed / oily skin / Produsul rezista pe ten circa 8-9 ore, dupa care veti avea nevoie de mici retusuri, mai ales in zona T daca aveti tenul mixt / gras;

     There is only one thing I don’t like about this BB Cream: it doesn’t last too long. I need a big amount of product to get a reasonable coverage and, after I used 5-6 times my tube is almost half empty. If I were to use it daily, it means that I would finish one BB Cream in 3 weeks max. 

     Un singur lucru nu-mi place la acest BB Cream: se consuma foarte repede. Este nevoie de o cantitate maricica de produs pentru a obtine o acoperire acceptabila, iar dupa 5-6 utilizari tubul meu este aproape jumatate gol. Conform estimarilor mele, daca l-as folosi zilnic in maxim trei saptamani as termina un BB Cream.

Quantity / Cantitate: 30 ml

     Would I buy again this product? Although it doesn’t last too long yes, I would buy it again. Because it hydrates my skin very good, it blends well and it has an acceptable coverage, which makes it perfect for the days when I don’t want to wear a foundation.

     I recommend this BB Cream to any skin type, but especially to girls who have a dry or dull skin. 

     L-as recumpara? Desi se termina repede da, l-as cumpara din nou pentru ca nu l-as folosit zilnic. Imi hidrateaza foarte bine tenul, se intinde perfect si acopera binisor, ceea ce-l face perfect pentru zilele in care nu vreau sa folosesc fond de ten. 

     Recomand acest BB Cream tuturor tipurilor de piele, dar in special fetelor care au tenul uscat sau tern.
