NOTD - Nail stripes mini-tutorial

     Hello, ladies.

     I’ve been trying for a few days to do this mini-tutorial, but something came up all the time and I didn’t manage to post it. The bad thing is I’m gonna very busy starting this week, so I won’t be able to post that often on my FB page and my blog.  

    But enough with the talking, let’s get to the point. You asked several times to show you how I do my nails using the nail stripes and, finally, I managed to do a small tutorial, which I hope you’ll like.

     De cateva zile ma tot chinui la postarea aceasta, insa mereu a intervenit ceva si n-am mai reusit sa o public. Partea proasta este ca de astazi programul meu va deveni mai haotic si mai incarcat decat pana acum, drept urmare postarile mele pe Facebook si pe blog se vor rari.

     Dar destul cu trancaneala, sa trec la subiect. M-ati rugat de multe ori sa va arat cum imi fac eu manichiura folosind benzile pentru unghii si, intr-un final, am reusit sa realizez un mic tutorial, care sper sa fie pe placul vostru.

      I chose two nail polishes from Catrice and OPI, a bright orange and a blue. I don’t know why, when I chose the nail polishes I thought they would look good together, but I didn’t really liked the final result.     Unfortunately, it was too late to change the nail polishes.

     Eu am ales doua oje de la Catrice si OPI, un portocaliu aprins si un albastru. Nu stiu de ce, cand am pus mana pe oje mi s-a parut ca cele doua arata tare bine impreuna, insa rezultatul final nu m-a incantat prea mult. Din pacate, era o ora prea tarzie pentru a mai schimba ceva.

Step by step:

1. I applied a base coat, then two coats of Catrice “C04 Exotica”, from the Coolibri collection. / Am aplicat un base coat, apoi doua straturi de Catrice “C04 Exotica”, din colectia Coolibri.

2. I’ve let the nail polish to dry completely, then I sticked the stripes on the nails. / Am lasat oja sa se usuce complet, apoi am lipit benzile pe unghii.

3. Using a sponge, I dabbed the blue nail polish on my nails. / Cu ajutorul unui buretel, am tapotat oja albastra pe unghii.

4. While the blue nail polish was still wet, I slowly removed the stripes, one by one. / Imediat dupa ce am terminat cu buretelul, am tras usor de pe unghii benzile, in ordinea in care le-am aplicat.

5. Using a cotton pad and some nail polish remover, I cleaned the excess nail polish. Then I waited for the nail polish to dry and I applied a top coat. / Folosind o discheta demachianta si niste dizolvant, am curatat oja din jurul unghiilor. Apoi am asteptat sa se usuce oja si am aplicat un top coat.

     That’s it, it’s very simple and the result is pretty cute. 

     Asta este tot, e foarte simplu, iar rezultatul e destul de dragut.
