LOTN - I like to mauve it

     Hello, ladies.

     From the moment I got my hands on the Wet n Wild “Petal Pusher” palette I knew I had to use it to do a purple smokey look. I wanted a strong and sparkly evening look, to complement the eyes of the girls who’s wearing it and to atract everyone’s attention.

     This week I had a day off and I took advantage of it to do the look I had in mind. The makeup is simple but, in order to make it easier for you, I will explain it a little for you.

     De cum am intrat in posesia paletei “Petal Pusher” de la Wet n Wild am stiut ca primul machiaj pe care-l voi face cu ea va fi un smokey mov. Mi-am dorit un look de seara, puternic si stralucitor, care sa evidentieze ochii celei care-l va purta si care sa capteze atentia celor din jur.

     Saptamana aceasta am avut o zi libera si am profitat pentru a realiza look-ul pe care-l aveam in minte.  Machiajul este simplu de realizat dar, pentru a va fi mai usor, voi explica putin pasii pe care i-am urmat pentru a ajunge la acest rezultat. 

     The eyes:

     First of all, I prepared my eyes using foundation and powder, then I applied on my mobile lid the purple primer “Ultra Violet”, and on the browbone and in my inner corner the white primer “Moonshine”, both from the Sleek Primer palette.

     Mai intai mi-am pregatit ochii cu fond de ten si pudra, apoi am aplicat pe pleoapa mobila primerul mov “Ultra Violet”, iar pe arcada si in coltul intern al ochiului primerul alb “Moonshine”, ambele din paleta de primere de la Sleek. 

     I dabbed on my mobile lid the shade no 1 from “Petal Pusher”, which I blended out using shade no2 . In the outer part of my crease I applied eyeshadow no 3, and on my browbone and in my inner corner I used shade no 5. Between 3 and 5 I used eyeshadow no 4, which I applied it also in the inner part of my crease.

     On my lower lash line I used the “Ultra Violet” primer and eyeshadows no 1, 2 and 5. 

  Prin tapotare, am aplicat pe pleoapa mobila nuanta numarul 1 din “Petal Pusher”, pe care am blenduit-o folosind fardul cu numarul 2. In partea exterioara a pliului pleoapei am aplicat nuanta numarul 3, iar sub sprancene si in coltul intern al ochiului am folosit nuanta 5. Trecerea dintre 3 si 5 am facut-o folosind fardul numarul 4, pe care l-am aplicat si in partea interioara a pliului pleoapei.

     Pe linia genelor de jos am folosit primerul “Ultra Violet” si fardurile 1, 2 si 5.

     This time I didn’t use a black eyeliner, but I chose a purple gel eyeliner from Essence.

     A makeup like this one could be complete using only some long, thick and beautiful lashes, therefore I opted for Ardell Fashion Lashes #117, which you can find HERE. I really love this fake eyelashes because they make this look to pup out even more.

     Finally, I did my eyebrows using the eyebrow kit from Sleek.

  

     De aceasta data am lasat deoparte tusul negru optand, in schimb, pentru un eyeliner gel mov de la Essence.

     Un astfel de machiaj nu putea sa ceara decat niste gene lungi, dese si frumoase, iar pentru asta am folosit Ardell Fashion Lashes #117, pe care le gasiti AICI. Imi plac tare mult genele astea false pentru ca pun si mai mult in evidenta acest look dramatic.

     La final, mi-am conturat si umplut sprancenele folosind kit-ul de sprancene de la Sleek, nuanta Dark. 

     The face:

     As a foundation I used my beloved Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid 30 Sand, the powder I chose is Essence Pure Skin 02 Sand, and for contouring I used the “Honour” blush from the Sleek Olympic collection. As a blush I used Sleek “Rose Gold” and I highlighted my cheekbones using Boots No7.

     Fondul de ten folosit este iubitul meu Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid 30 Sand, pudra pe care am ales-o este Essence Pure Skin 02 Sand, iar pentru conturarea fetei am folosit blush-ul “Honour” din colectia Olympic de la Sleek. Obrajii i-am colorat cu Sleek “Rose Gold”, iar ca iluminator am ales highlighter-ul de la Boots No7. 

     The lips:

     For the lips I chose a nice, warm gloss from BeautyUK – “Playboy”.

     Pentru buze am ales un gloss cuminte si cald de la BeautyUK, mai exact lip lust-ul nuanta “Playboy”.
